Flying Zone

• The flying zone we use are the three grassed sections that are surrounded by a 75m wide frame around the building, road, school and children areas parking lot.


• For flying, pilots form a line within listening distance of each other around the left side of the oval track.


• We call our landings and take offs as we indicate the direction, i.e. “Landing from the woods”, “Taking off towards the woods”.


• We create an oval flying pattern, loosely around the track, and normally matching the wind conditions.
